skubbs Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 I see a grease fitting on the left rear axle of my 916 near the wheel, but I don't see one on the right side. There are a couple of hex bolts on the inside of the wheel which are about the size of a grease fitting...I wonder if the fitting was replaced with a small bolt, or am I looking in the wrong place? Man, does this thing till nicely! Much better than my MTD set-up. However, the MTD tiller is a lot heavier than the A-C.
a-cman Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 There is only one for the axle, it is on the same side as the longer traction control hub, there chould also be one on the traction control extended hub(inside wheel area). You may be able to find a service manual online, through the simplicity technical publications area, with the model number of your tractor. The locations of all the grease fitting would shown in the manual.
