I found a 7790 diesel that I am going to call on tomorrow. Can you guys give me a quick rundown on these. Can you get motor parts? Are these worth investing in? Thanks.

Yes, infact, those lombardini engine parts are pretty easy to get parts for. If the tranny is in good condition it should be a fairly good tractor, my brother has one and he rebuilt the engine, and so far, it seems to be a very good machine. does it come with a mower deck? Those engines are VERY powerful, long-lasting, and tend to be pretty tough. just my two-cents worth KohlerMan

I have one too a 920 AC version they are a brute for sure.I want to experiment in WARMER weather with running mine on cooking oil,,it, sounds interesting,,.I wanted to repiston/rering mine and was told the pistons are $$$275 EACH! oil is cheaper,,

Try bio-diesal fuel. Maybe MN-Fish (Wayne) and fill in more info on this fuel. Dan

Instead of pill I'll use a spoon or 2 o' gasoline that'll light er up!

Ya Man! that'll light er up for sure, then the 'oll klunker el locker up, then you'll really have to haul'er to the shop and do a rebuild! haha lol. KohlerMan
