Ryan Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Has anyone ever put the Hi-lo system out of a 7000 series 6-speed onto a b-series tractor because I am thinking about doing this.
SmilinSam Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 As long as you are using a long Frame B series like the B-112 or B-210 It should go on without any problems at all, drive wise anyhow. You would probably have to use the Bevel gear box off the 6 Speed wich could run into potential problems putting your original PTO setup back together. If that is a problem you could measure the shaft diameter on the tranny drive side and see if its the same on the B series Box. If so you could use a Box or shaft from a Hydro B or 3 speed B to work in your application. Can't use the Variable speed boxes/shafts as they are different.
