richp Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 My friends electric pto doesn't work. Is there a way to test the magnet to see if it is any good? Ohms? Also I took the two wires and connected the power wire to positive and the other to ground on the battery and nothing. Any ideas?
jlasater Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 You'd have to dig up the specs on the clutch in question to know what resistance it should have. You can check it and see if it has an open circuit though. If it does, it's probably dead.
