MPH Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 Those of you who core plug your lawn, do you sweep up the plugs or let them be? Plan on doing mine today and fishmealing and limeing it, but if I should sweep up the plugs I wanna do that before I spread anything on it. Thanks.
toad270 Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 From what I have heard you should leave them alone to break up and go back into the ground
dratkinson Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 I rake mine into the low spots on the lawn and let them break down there.
JJ MARSHALL Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 MPH i just leave mine a couple o rains and you would never know that they were there. JJ
MPH Posted May 1, 2005 Author Posted May 1, 2005 Thanks guys, took a couple pics of done deal but by the time I spread lime and fish and bone meal, didn't have time to do the camera stuff, doing a quick watering now to wash the spreading in a little, think I'll be late going back to work tonight.
Kent Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 Fish and bone mean provides organic potassium and phosphorus, in addition to other "trace minerals".
