Nick Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 What's the best way to get the shafts on the mower deck to stop spining so I can loosen the nuts so I can change the bearings?
KVANDY12 Posted May 9, 2005 Posted May 9, 2005 Air impack wrench is best if you have one. If not with the blade on put a 2x4 so the blades can't turn and wrench them off. that is if they are still on the deck. If not clamp the shaft in a vice and go to work on them.
Nick Posted May 10, 2005 Author Posted May 10, 2005 Thanks Ray & Ken. I was not aware you could pull the shafts in one piece from the deck and put them in a vise. I did that last night.
