Deck belt keeps popping off 728 Broadmoor, off from the engine, have tried 5L800, 4L750 belts, keeps popping off. Have adjusted the front pto pulleys down and still no change. Have adjusted the pto enguagement tension too, no change. Am i missing some guides underneath the engine or does someone else have any suggestions?8?

Does it have the idlers in alinement? That's what's important. Also, check the bearings in the deck. A flopping spindle will throw the belt off. While it's running it's hard to see where it actually jumps off.

As soon as you get the belt guides back on, your belt jumping will cease. When you "pop-off" you deck clutch handle, the belt has no where to rest so to speak and will jump off the sheaves almost everytime. Making guides is not that hard.
