Whch one of these would be better for a B-10 or a landlord 101? Or is there something else newer and better? http://www.smallenginewarehouse.com/product.asp?PN=243431-1172 http://www.smallenginewarehouse.com/product.asp?PN=243431-2520

All depends on if you plan to blow snow. I am lucky if I get to use a snowblower here in Michigan once a year. I can`t imagine you getting much snow in Georgia. You can always put a crankshaft cover over the threads.

Go for a 16 hp cast iron engine. If you are going to replace it, might as well give it more power.

I thought the keyed shaft would be more like original, but since I don't use the front shaft for anything, the threaded would be OK. I would like to go to a 16HP, but i haven't been able to find one anywhere. Does anyone have a line on one?

Before I committ and buy one of these 10hp, does anyone out there know any place that might have a 16 HP in stock? I've searched the internet and haven't found one. I just wonder if there is one forgotten in a warehouse somewhere.
