Starter Generator Bearings/Bushings

Recommended Posts

The drive end will always have a bearing. The commutator side can be either a bushing or bearing. I converted all mine to bearings as the bushings didn't hold up as good. I think parts might be a problem now. The change over was fairly easy for me. You can tell real quick what it is. The bushing end extends out about a 1/2" in the cover and the bearing doesn't.
