Where are the points?

This must seem to be a real dumb question, but for a guy with little time working on garden tractors (cleanning carb, changing sparkplug....lol) I just had to ask. I was wondering where the points are lockated on my 2110 Simplicity? Also, whats the best way to clean them after I know what I'm looking at? Thanks for all your help^

Standing in front of the tractor, they're on the right side near the front of the engine, down low -- just above the sides of the frame, and below the muffler and carb. They're covered by a rectangular box with rounded corners....
