MAN 2P1 Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 Hello everybody, I have found this interessting Forum by searching the web for Simplicity Spare parts. Im locatet in Southwest Germany and I'am searching spare belts for my two old simplicity mower tractors. One type is a Broadmoor 2 Type 6010 and the other one is a Regent type 4111. Both mowers should be build between 1970 and 1980. Can anyone help me with spare belts for this two Mowers. For example where I can become the belts. And what is the right designation for the belts. Type Broadmoor 2(6010) has 3 Belts One Belt for Drive / One from the Engine to the mower / and at last one in the mower who connect the 3 Cutters . Type Regent (4111) has 2 Belts one for the Drive and one for the mower to the engine. It would be great when anyone can help me by typing the correct belts and looking for a good seller how has to needed belts. Thank's and all the best from Germany Marc

The belts for your 6010 should be: Drive belt = Simplicity part number 165048 42" Rotary mower PTO belt = 1713515 Arbor drive belt = 1719819 The belts for your 4111 should be: Drive belt = 1703836 36" Rotary mower arbor drive belt = 1713549 You can go here and check to make sure that these are the correct parts: http://www.jackssmallengines.com/index.html Click on "Parts Lookup" to find the parts. UCD Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 Jacks small engines does not ship Internationally and will not ship to Germany. Sandy lake Implement will ship to Germany. They shipped a lot of parts to Gerhard in Austria. Gerhard had a lot of problems with Jacks Small engines. They took his order and his money then did not ship his parts and would not answer his emails. I emailed them and they would not answer mine. I finally had to call them and they denied taking his order or money but we had an order confirmation number from them. When I finally got them to acknowledge the order they said they do not ship over seas.

You know that we in Germany measure in Meetric untis not in Inch and Zoll as in State Side. Maybe that a little bit difficult for me. So I will try as UCD's recommendation buying the Belts by Sandy lake. At last a small overview what i have repaired to my Simplicity mowers. My Broadmoor 2 has become a New Briggs and Straton Engine last year with 13 HP not 11. It better wenn you mow high gras. On my 4111 Regent at present i change the rotary mower because the old one is totally rustet. The new one i made out of high-grade steel. The parts i have measured and then drawed with cadkey and lasered. So thats it and sorry for the bent English..:-)) Marc
