tractormike 0 Posted May 22, 2005 The wife and I went to a antique tractor pull and swap meet. There were only about a dozen people selling at the swap meet but we did find a couple of new toys. We found simplicity with a very nice 48 inch deck. The engine had been bored and rebuilt not to long ago and it runs like a top. It's in pretty good shape overall. The same guy had a 727 for sale. It doesn't have a deck but I have one that will fit it. It runs very well and has the original headlights on it and they even work. I gave $200.00 for the simplicity and mower deck and $50.00 for the 727. I think I did OK. What do you guys think?
rokon2813 272 Posted May 22, 2005 Nice finds and nice prices Mike :D Pretty good custom paint job too. That tractor is about 10 years older than the 7112 model [:0] What you have is a 2012 2112 3112 3212 era tractor from the late 60's with paint and decals from a 7112 late 70's tractor. the 7112 was well into the "running board" era ;) while that flat hooded "foot dragger" with no hood scoop and one piece seat pan is nearer the end of the foot dragging era. 8D8D
tractormike 0 Posted May 22, 2005 Thanks for the update on the model number.I was wondering about that as I was looking for info on that model and it wasn't jiving. I will have to do some engine number checking to determine which one it really is. It does have the vickers hydro in it. The best thing is that it's a foot dragger! UCD 14 Posted May 22, 2005 With the Vickers hydrostatic in it makes it either a 3112H or 3212H.
