720 Plow / Dozer Blade Question

Recommended Posts

I mounted my Plow for the first time today to help out a freind pushing around some stone for his driveway......I have noticed that the hydrolic fittings comming out of the piston on the plow have 45 degree angle fittings before the hydrolic line attatch. both the top and the bottom lines seem to hit either the plow or the tractor frame when the plow is raised....I have the fittings pointing upwards, or in the top mounting position this appears to be the only position it will mount....I tried them all.....I am thinking of swaping the 45"s for 90" fittings, but would like to know what others have found?

I have noticed also that it will hit. I put the fittings up and adjusted them slightly towards the sides. This allowed me to have full range of opperation. I broke my top fitting first time I tried my blade.

Directly off the lift cylander are 45 degree fittings then the hydrolic lines attatch to them, I think If I were to switch them for 90 degree fittings the lines may be out of the way, but was looking to see if anyone else had the same problems, I just helped level out the driveway......boy a York rake would be nice to have for that job

The cylinder should work with the 45 fittings. The cylinder mounts with the fittings down. The hoses should also have the bent tube end fittings on them. I can send a pic of the cylinder and fittings if you need it.
