Ok, This is probaly a dumb question. But does it matter what way you put a new belt on? I bought a new drive belt for a B116, and I see there is splice or seam in it.

Your gunna have to be a little more specific for me. I don't know of a factory B116 and I'm not familiar with any belt with a splice or seam in it.

If you turn it over the seam still goes in the same direction anyway, so I would say not. This doesn't go through the belt anyway.

I see what you mean now. The splice is just where the belt was bonded together but it doesn't go all the way through. It's like a set of rings, all the ends of the rings don't line up at the same place. It won't matter whitch way you put it on.
