Nick Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 A friend of mine dropped off these two snowblowers yesterday morning at my house while I was in New Jersey. Both came from different realitives. The one in the back is an older Yardman Snowbird with a 7hp Tecumseh that they couldn't gets started and the other one is an Snowbird brand blowler with a B&S engine unknown horsepower. Also picked up a two walkbehinds that someone put out on the curb. Figured I'd fix them and "turn them over" to help buy stuff for my tractor restoration. No Simplicities or AC's but someday I'll strike gold.
D-17_Dave Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 Boy that snowbird is one tough looking machine. That would be a keeper in my collection.
MDB Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 pretty good haul for dropped off and free:D I would say that you should be able to turn all of that over for ORANGE and YELLOW stuff....:D
Nick Posted June 5, 2005 Author Posted June 5, 2005 Well I still haven't had a chance to look any of this stuff over yet but the previous owner of the snowblower in front said he couldn't get it in gear. Maybe just a belt problem? Well anyway if it's not belts, It's probably a drive gear problem and those parts have been NLA for 30 years from what I am told. If that's the case it will get parted out.
10HorseMan Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Can't beat a deal like that, delivered and free.:D
AGCO918 Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Cant beat anything that is free.Looks like you got some nice older equipment to see and make a little extra money for the tractor fund.
