Not sure I spelled it correctly, but finally got around to priming and painted. Debated over flat, satin and gloss but decided to use the gloss black as I already had some on hand. Won't matter much as it will soon see a lot of use I hope. Some of the pics show the rust pitting on the bucket. There is quite a bit on the trip mechanism too. Sand blasted it all out but not sure there was anything worthwhile to I could have done for the pitting. Now where is close to rusting through, just a few spots that look bad, still very structurally sound though. I only know of a few of you from my last post that has one of these. I consider it sort of rare. Not like ground saw or post hole auger rare, but still hard to find. Haven't quite figured out how I am gonna route the trip rope yet so it is not shown in the pics. Enjoy. Brent

Hey Brent That does look good. I wouldn't worry about the pitting, at least your paint job will prevent it from rusting any further.

Brent, Looks good to me.You shouldnt have rust as bad now. They make some stuff that you put on rust ,it dries a black color i believe, thought about trying it before but never have.
