rear end 5212

Just had an unfortunate accident in the rear end of my 5212. Had a grinding noise when let off on brake. Jacked rear end up to find a crack in casing and broken parts in the yard. Anyone know where I can find a new/used rearend?

I have a 4212H parts tractor. I don't know anything about this series so I don't know if has the same rear. You're welcome to the parts if they will work. (Also don't know if the rear works, but it isn't physically broken and I was told it was OK).

I did some research and do believe the transaxle is a Peerless part number 801-019B. Any info on where I can find one would be appreciated.

Hi, I believe the 5200 tranny normally has 4 shift keys instead of 2. You could add them, as we sometimes do on some of the 4200 that get roughed up and have the 4 slots. Al Eden
