texaswonder Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 I have a '93 Broadmoor Simplicity. This year I noticed that while mowing the longer I mow the less power I have in going up hills. Is this due to the gear belt? Or hydro belt? If so is it that hard to replace myself or is this a dealers job? Thanks in advance.........Texaswonder 8)
Paul_B Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 Is the motor not as powerful, or is it like a belt slipping? At the age of your tractor, it may need a new belt. In general belts aren't too bad to replace. It just takes some time.
texaswonder Posted June 5, 2005 Author Posted June 5, 2005 Thanks for answering the engine is great. I had eliminated the engine earlier in the month. firefoxz1 Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 I would take it in for a hydro service, new fluid and filter if equipped.
