Kent 435 Posted June 7, 2005 Originally they called for 80/90 gear oil, but some people are running the newer, thinner Simplicity Multipurpose Gear Oil in them.
RayS 79 Posted June 7, 2005 I was running the Simplicity Multipurpose oil in a BGB that I just rebuilt until my dealer told me that he would drain it and go with the 80/90 gear oil. He says that the BGB will last longer. I now am using 80/90 mobile one synthetic oil.
Simplicity314 0 Posted June 7, 2005 I use 6 oz. Valvoliene 85-90 gear oil and 2 oz. Lucas oil stablizer. (I think it takes 8 oz.) There was another post not too long ago where the author said he used 4 oz. Lucas .
