patrician12 0 Posted June 11, 2005 Not familiar with real farm tractors what type or class of hitch do our 7000 Simplicity and 900 series Allis' have? Are they industry standard or something unique to the company? I saw in the show and tell section one of the members bought a chipper shredder and it seemed to mount right up.Or was it made to fit Simplicity only? ReedS 5 Posted June 11, 2005 In referance to the Mackissic chipper/shredder, Mackissic made an optional kits for their shredders to adapt them to the Simplicity/Allis hitch as well as other kits to fit different popular machines.
Simplicity314 0 Posted June 11, 2005 They typically take a sleeve hitch or one-point hitch, aside from the draw hitch that is standard on most tractors. I've seen pics on this site if cat. 0 3-point hitches people made for the bigger machines, though I don't remember if it was done for the series you mentioned. Because the 7000 series has the hitch receiver plate on the back rather than the hitch framework on the tranny, the options are greater--you can drill to make vertually any brand of sleeve hitch fit. Chris727 1,925 Posted June 11, 2005 No 3 points were available, lots of people call the AC hitches 3 points but they are not, even though technically there are 3 attacting points. It is Simplicity exclusive rear lift system. Sunstars and similar machines I believe had optional category zero 3 points. Many farm tractors have category 1 three points. Simplicity314 0 Posted June 11, 2005 You are right Chris--the cat 0's were custom/fabricated--not offered by simp.
