A Friend Of Mine Gave Me An Older Simplicity Sno Away Snow Blower With An 8 HP Briggs And Stratton. The Engine Is Missing The Recoil And Recoil Housing, So I Can Not Determine The Age Of The Machine, Due To The Fact That The Model Type And Code Numbers Are Not There. Could Anyone Tell Me What Year This Unit Was Made?? Model 990796 I Am Guessing At An Era Of 1976-1979. Thanks in Advance For Your Help Jim
