JimS 1 Posted June 14, 2005 I have a Tecumseh engine that wants to "kickback" when trying to start it, like the timing is too early. There is no timing adjustment that I know of. If I get it spinning fast enough it will start and run. Any suggestions on what the problem is and how to fix it? Thanks.
10HorseMan 0 Posted June 14, 2005 I would say that you have a partially sheared flywheel key. Does this model have some kind of a compression release?
