Year that my briggs was made?

I know we have been through this before but I can not seem to find where it was posted on the old messages. I have a Briggs with a number on the cover that is-213431-0627-02-7404241-help please. Does anyone know what the year made could be? Its a 9hp and should be the original motor for my landlord. Thanks for any help you can give. Jackl

Drop the 1 off the end of the last number, so it's 740424 and the answer is... April 24, 1974....

Well now I know its not the original engine. But the tractor has a forged date on the trans housing of 6-16-64. At least I do know what year it is. Thanks again-Jackl
