SmilinSam 3,915 Posted June 18, 2005 I Bought 4 Simplciity snowblades at a area Simplicity dealer out of business auction today, a new 54" blade for my Massey GC2300, and a 3 pt rear blade similar to the cat 0 Powermax blades. Most are going up for sale next fall/winter, and that about gaurentees no snow next winter here Right?:D
skubbs 0 Posted June 18, 2005 Perhaps. Or maybe you'll get so much snow you'll wish you had spent the money on a snowblower attachment.
SmilinSam 3,915 Posted June 18, 2005 Bought a Cab and blower last year and only got 1 4' long 2' tall drift once last winter to use it on.......
keifer2k3 0 Posted June 18, 2005 Sam, The same thing has happened to me. I got a cab and blower last year but not much snow. I'm looking for a blade for the 7114H I just bought. I think 54" would be too much for it. Anyone have any idea where I can get one of those plows with the folding blade (so you dont end up with blade underneath ya) I haven't seen one made by simplicity. The manual says use 1690085 and I have one but no springs. Has someone here fabricated something for this blade or does Simplicty or someone else make one? SmilinSam 3,915 Posted June 19, 2005 I have a Brand new 42" spring loaded Blade. Factory paint never touched. Got several different hitches that can be used with it to fit a number of different tractors. For your Soverign it can use the same hitch the standard 42" blade uses, and I have one of those hitches thats used. Its not the same mfg # as you quoted above but it works just the same with the correct hitch. My boy uses the same Blade on his Soveriegn type. E-mail me if interested. HubbardRA 19 Posted June 20, 2005 Since I got the blower hooked up to use on my 716H, we haven't had enough snow to even worry about. That is two winters.
hdrhdr 0 Posted June 20, 2005 You guys must be doing something wrong. I bought my first 725 last fall, picked up a 36" snowblower from RayS the day before Thanksgiving and got 24" of snow before Christmas!! Randy
