MrSteele 483 Posted June 19, 2005 I have my recently acquired Landlord up and running, though I will have to rebuild the engine this winter to save oil. Part of that rebuild will be replacing the blades and likely the bearings in the deck. There is not a Simplicity dealer close (60 miles or so), but I will make that trip if I have to. Can anyone tell me if the blades on the deck are all the same length and what length are they? I have a scrap iron pile full of old mowers, and could salvage a set for use the rest of this year possibly, but, I need the lengths. The tractor is a 65 Landlord, and I am still trying to find numbers on the mower deck.
BLT 717 Posted June 19, 2005 The blades can still be bought. Simplicity has its own hole spacing, 2-3/8" holes with no center pilot hole. Also blades a LH rotation. UPS is cheaper then driving.
