Roy Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 In case anyone is interested, the tiller drive idler pulley (#1657712) bearing can be replaced with standard bearing #6203D. Drill the rivets out, split the pulley, remove the bushing in the bearing ID, put the bushing in the new bearing, assemble the pulley halves, and then rivet or bolt the pulley back together. My bearing cost was $2. Sure beat $18 up for a new pulley assembly. :):):) Now, if I could only find a bearing replacement for the #105380 pulley. :( This is a special bearing with an integral set collar on the inner race. Plus the pulley is welded together. A new pulley assembly from Jack's Small engines is $53.17 plus shipping.
