Yet another type of Front Weed mower..

This one is similar to another we ownSee below: [img]http://a2.cpimg.com/image/0E/10/11158542-d333-0200014A-.jpg[/img] Unlike this one ,the red one they got is short, otherwise very similar in build and operation. They are for a FootDraggerTractor and run off the center PTO. Bothe these machines are made by different companies that were in Ilinois in the 60's. There is a 3rd mower I have seen and then the Simplicity model #370. That makes 4 different weed mowers I am aware of now that were produced to fit these tractors. Learn something new every day...

The red one looks like it is for running off the front PTO, with the idler pullies. The second one would run off the center mule drive.

Both run off the center PTO. Both pin to the front set of holes on the axle, not the double holes the mower and blades pin to. Th red one sits out too far for the idlers to be used with a front PTO setup. We have to set it up on a tractor and figure the exact belt routing because a few parts seem to be missing...
