engine flywheel question 7117

I have the wrong flywheel (i think thats its name) mounted on the newer kohler magnum does anyone know the dimensions for the kind that would mount on the engine that connects to the drive shaft? It is going in a 1979 7117. I guess I am courious what it is suppose to look like. The one on thier was made for a u joint style mount. THANKS ALSO THANKS TO ALL WITH THE INFO. I used pieces off the kt-17 and it bolted right up. I fitted the screen from the Kt-17 onto m-20 flywheel. I believe first piece was a 2 bolt adaptor to flywheel and then 2 bolts to thick rubber adaptor and that bolted to fly wheel. I had to cut frame on right front of engine to allow oil filter to fit in place I think I cut 2 inches off.
