Onan Moter Question

I can't qout the serial #'s but I have only seen BG series engines in the sears and most deere tractors. Simular engines in design but nothing but a few ignition parts are interchangeable. Basicly a completely diff. engine.

Unless someone has put something different in that Sears, Dave's correct that it should be a B series engine. The easy way to tell the difference is that the B series motors are all aluminum block engines, while the CCK series are cast-iron blocks.

The TR. And engine sold in 1978. the block is aluminum .runs good no smoke,only 415 hrs.on meter. Johnwb
