[:0]Sam it just aint natchural:(. The AC gods are gonna throw lightnin bolts across Illinois one of these days, mark my words! On the other handB)....that just might be the trick for keeping dry feet pushing snow. Maybe I'll have to see what I can do with the boards from a 7000 or 7100 frame I have sitting around back rotting away. I have to say the boys did a good job. They do look factory.

Whaddaya mean LOOK ? They are factory. AC made them for the B-210/212 frames which they continued to build through 1973 as the base for the Homelite T Series they built. To use the Footplates he ( my son)also had to use the steering shaft, bracket and rod that came with the homelite tractor the foot plates came off of.

The boys done good Sam. I think they look that nice because of the solid bourds instead of the perforated ones likes on all the later models.

The running boards look cool, but I'd really like to see more on that hitch too. Looks like a homemade three-point of some sort. Yep, gotta see some pics!

The boys did great. I think the running boards give that tractor a very clean look. Nice job on the whole tractor.

I feel if you are not going to have a deck under a FDT theres nothing wrong with a set of running boards. Saftey first I say...

This is the boys engineering. All he did was use the frame uprights that bolt to the tranny and hold up the seat deck from another tractor for lowr hitch arms and made a shaft to fit into the rear lift sockets that the lift rod pins to and the side links attach to to raise the lower arms. I dont know what he is planning on using it with, but I'm sure he has ideas. Kids seem to use their minds more when you let them do things themselves and work it all out without stepping in.
