a-cman Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Just found, and bought a Simplicity SunStar, today at a local Cub Cadet dealer. They took it in as a trade. It appears to be a 1991 model(going by the engine serial number), with a 20hp Kohler Magnum, locking rear, steering brakes, power steering, and a 60" mower deck. Too bad it has no 3-point rear hitch:(, but it is in excellent shape with around 500 hours on it. They were asking $2000 for it but sold it to me for the $1600 they owned it for:D. Will be picking it up next week sometime. This will be my first experience with a SunStar tractor, currently own an Agco-Allis 918H, A/C 716H, and a Simplicity 7117.
Chris727 Posted July 31, 2005 Posted July 31, 2005 Sounds like a good deal on a good tractor. The sunstars are a real nice class of machines^
D-17_Dave Posted July 31, 2005 Posted July 31, 2005 Be carefull, those supper sized frame tractors w/ power steering and all that power will spoil you.
comet66 Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 You'll love it!! I have a Sunstar and two Ultima's.
