Old AC hat

We visited some friends the other night and the father and teen age son are big IH fans and collectors. The son was very excited to show me old AC hat his father had found and gave him. Mixed in with all the red and white in his room was this hat. Has anyone else seen one of these?

These are around and hard to find,other than ebay or tractor shows.

I've seen 'em on fleabay, but don't know any details otherwise. Don't believe they're aftermarket tho. Sorry I can't tell you anything else.

My dad has one just like that. My uncle has one that says Oliver. They got them when they were little kids.

The hat is an early dealer promo item. Back in the day buy a tractor get a hat

They go for around $100.00 on e-bay. Very collectible!

My uncle also had an Oliver hat.Said "Finest in Farm Equipment" on the front. Gives you that "Frank Buck,Bring 'em back alive" look!
