ambler 0 Posted August 2, 2005 I'm building a tractor to cut a path in my woods An Early 7117H (K341 now)with Heavy duty Tiller and Dutch and John's grader blade. Anyone have one with this headlight decal? I attached the rear lift so that when it is up the grader is down and vice versa. I still have to hang the grader blade for travel. Maybe a right hand lift. The piece de resistance is for the front of the tractor. A winch for getting out of trouble from Sam's Club.
john-holcomb 0 Posted August 3, 2005 Nice looking tractor, I had a 6116 with that decal on it but I never saw one on a 7117. I put the narrow tires off an older tractor on my work tractor I think they steer better in the woods and on rought or slippery ground. Good Luck

ambler 0 Posted August 3, 2005 Thanks Joe. John I have a set of narrow wheels if necessary, I will need 75-100 lbs of front weight with that 300 lb Tiller on back.

comet66 0 Posted August 5, 2005 That's a good looking set up Ambler, it should certainly get the job done.
PGL 431 Posted August 5, 2005 I'd be interested to see how you mount and connect the winch and have your comments on how well it works.
ambler 0 Posted August 6, 2005 I'm going to take 4" by 4" L steel and bolt it to the frame under the hood grill. Lines go to the battery with a 50 amp slow blow fuse. This kit has everything but the L plate.
