robopop 0 Posted August 10, 2005 Hi. I am the proud owner of a (low milage) Allis B-207 E serial no. 13086? I am in desperate need of the proper transaxle drive belt part number and size/deminsions.. Is there a Simplicity model simular to cross ref with the A-C B-207 E? Can anyone date it by the Allis serial no. ? My best guess is a 1968 or later.. any help is greatly appriciated.. Thanks k. SmilinSam 3,932 Posted August 10, 2005 I doubt there is a crossover to a Simplicity model , as only the B-207 and B 208's used that transmission if I recall correctly. They didnt start using the Simplcity tranny till they repainted them and called them the Homesteaders.
dorise 0 Posted August 10, 2005 Under Tech Tips and Articles on the 2nd page is a formula to determine belt length if no one else answers your question. As for the width??? It was posted by Agricola. I feel one of the guys will be able to fill you in.
gregc 3 Posted August 10, 2005 Simplicity part no. 1601405 = V-BELT HA 040. (engine to centershaft) Simplicity part no. 1601672 = V-BELT HA 061. (centershaft to transmission) If your tractor still has the original engine you could get a rough guess on the time of manufacture by the engine code number. JCS 0 Posted August 12, 2005 The bearing in the middle is NLA and I had to use a waterpump bearing.
