transmission oil and attachment rototiller ?

Iwas wonder what type of transmission fluid you would use (fleet farm) for 7117h and also if a rototiller used on a 3416 sov. would go right on my 7117 .The rototiller is the same age as the 3416 sov. (1976). thanks to all for your imput.

The tiller should fit just fine on your 7117.

The tiller will fit, but will need idler pulley to keep belt from rubbing hydro filter. I would not recommend using trans fluid (can cause seals in rear to leak), use Simplicity multi-purpose hydro/trans fluid. Good luck.

The Rear PTO Drive Kit that you need is part number 1685225.

Jacks's Small Engines has the bracket (P.N.1671233) in the Reat PTO Drive Kit on back order with Simplicity for me. Hopefully they are still available.
