Gents, Looking at a 914 Allis parts/fixer upper tractor this weekend with a bad BGB, and seller has a "good" BGB he bought used with intentions of installing. My concern is will it fit? Seems like I heard the earlier tractors had different shafts or something. Thanks, Ike

Ike, Measure the length and diameter of the shafts that stick out of the BGB. The difference depends on whether it is a belt clutch PTO, or a cone clutch PTO, also whether it came from a vari-drive or not. A tape measure should tell you if it fits.
