Power Steering

Recommended Posts

ToddM
I did the 25 hour service on my Sovereign today. The manual said to grease the steering fitting. I couldn't find one. I'm thinking since I have power steering there may not be a fitting (no linkage; the steering wheel only turns a control valve). Is this correct?? Thanks, Roy

Joe, I really prefer the manual steering on my B-1. The power steering has "boost lag". When dodging obstacles while mowing the lag makes the steering suddenly get "hard". When this happens it is very hard to turn. If I had to do it again I would not order power steering. Roy
