D-17_Dave 12 Posted August 26, 2005 I've never seen one like this. The back side looks like it's coated in galvinised. The blade has some serious curve in it and it's very heavy duty. It doesn't have any spring trip to it and it's much heavier than the smaller blades I've seen before for the B-series. If it's been rigged from another brand then whomever did the hitch mods matched up the diminsions and did a very neat job of fabrication. Whitch is not the normal from what I've seen on the repair side of this tractor.
HubbardRA 19 Posted August 26, 2005 That much curve will be better when the blade is angled. It makes the snow roll off the plow better. I have a Wheel Horse blade that has much more curve than the other two blades that I had. I like the way the snow rolls when you push with it. I fabricated a hitch to make it work on the ACs and Simplicities. It does not have a spring trip either.
MPH 12 Posted August 26, 2005 With the galvy showing through, wonder if someone made a new blade for an old hitch out of a water presure tank maybe.
