toozer Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Would anyone be able to supply me with the part number for the rear lift cable on a 912 6-speed? It's about 40 some inches long, and the only numbers I can find in my parts manual is for the short cable to the mower deck.
msiebern Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 The 900 series AC crosses over to the 7100 series Simp's. The parts and accessories manual lists lift cable 1657563 for this application. The following line was taken from the lookup on Jack's Small Engines. 1657563 CABLE 19DIA X 3 $24.80 Hope this helps. It lists the length as 3' and 3/16 diameter.
toozer Posted September 2, 2005 Author Posted September 2, 2005 Thanks a bunch Mike!! Were you able to find the information on this site? I couldn't. I just bought the tractor and can't find any diagrams or pictures of what I need to connect the one point hitch to the rock shaft.

I just bought the tractor and can't find any diagrams or pictures of what I need to connect the one point hitch to the rock shaft. There is a lot of information here and it takes some digging and exploring to uncover it all. Check the links and information available on the Simple Tractors web page, before logging into this area. I used the X-REF chart to cross the AC 900 series to the 7100 series Simplicity. Here is the link to that particular page.. http://www.simpletractors.com/X-reference/ac_s_pg2.htm Jack's Small Engines - http://www.jackssmallengines.com and Small Engine Parts Warehouse SEPW - http://www.sepw.com/pages/2/Default.htm both have links from the first page of the Simple Tractors web page. They are available by clicking on their respective ads on the right side of the page. They both have parts lookup links that show both diagrams and parts numbers for ordering. You can also download the manuals from Simplicity at http://www.simplicitytechpubs.com/techpubsearch.php#start You will need a model number to get the proper manuals, You can use the catalog number from the X-REF table mentioned above. 1690644 would be the Simplicity equivilant to your 912-6. Go to the simplicity tech publs listed above and put in 1690644 and it will list all of the manuals available for download in pdf format. Just keep looking around and trying all the links available and you will find more than you ever dreamed.
