jworth Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I have reached the point that I now need to start thinking about rebuilding a few engines. I have seen discussions on local Tech schools however I travel and do not know from week to week where I will be. Has anyone tried online study or can suggest a good book? My mechanical ability is weak but I have the bug real bad. Any help would be great!!!!!!!!:D
ehertzfeld Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 My boss took a small engine cource from Foley Belsaw. You sing up and they send you a pack of books and tests. They also send you a catalog witch you can buy parts at cost. Im not sure what the cost is but you mite want to check it out. www.foley-belsaw.com Elon
D-17_Dave Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Everything you should need to know is covered in the Briggs repair manual. Even if it's another brand it covers all the basics.
