Cavalier assistance

Looking for anyone with a 3108 Cavalier with readable #s for the model. I have 1690???. I did some referencing on the belt link on ST and found those numbers coordinate with my deck # and the belt number under the hood but mine is an '82 and the reference is up to '81. The '81 calls for 1690526 (3108M) and 527 (3108E). Would I be guessing that is for (M)anual or (E)lectric? Mine is electric. Its probably close enough but better safe than sorry -Joe

We have a Cavalier 3108 in the family and I have the original parts manual. The Manufacturer's number for a 3108 electric start is 1690527. Here's some numbers that may be useful: 36" deck, MFG# 1690531 & 1690891 (two blade deck) Belt# 108508 30" deck, MFG# 1690530 Belt# 1665024 26" deck, MFG# 1690529 Belt# 1664946 It is likely these belt numbers have been superceded with newer numbers, but can most likely be cross referenced to newer numbers or other than OEM belt numbers.
