Guest Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 While reading the Technical Information pamphlet by Sauer Danfoss I came across the suggested life expectancy of their Series 15 pump/transmissions, which is approximately 1000 hours or 5 years at 200 hrs/yr. Curious as to how many of you are close to that amount.
UCD Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 21 years & over 5000 hrs on a 1984/85 Simplicity Sovereign 7790 Lombardini Diesel.
firefoxz1 Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 I am the second owner of a 7012H and although I have not used it much in the 2 years I've had it I know it's well over that, because of the lawn it used to mow, and still going fine.
Dtrain Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 From what I have read and the many GT's I have owned which were from 25-30 years old, the hydros are almost indestructible as long as the oil and filter are maintained.
dlcentral Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 In sundstrands case its forever as long as oil/filt are changed and do not tow it without releasing pressure valves,,
