neil56 Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 G'day, what is ww fluid ?, i assume it is engine coolant with glycol(anti freeze) in it, is there any reason for this, other than it not freezing of course, and how much fluid should you put in each tyre? and what Psi would you then run the tyre at?, cheers Neil
MPH Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Good day down there Neil, WW is winshield washer fuild, non toxic. Haven't done it myself but think most guys here fill 'em to the stem with it on top then add air to normal presure, like 10lbs.
Paul_B Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 WW fluid is also cheap to buy. Less than a buck a gallon around here.
ambler Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 You lay the tire flat stem up and break the bead on the up facing side. Then pour it in, about eight gallons. I think the daddy cat posted a how to with pictures.
lpcb10 Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Somewhere on this site is a post that gives a part # from NAPA auto parts to fill tubed tires with ww fluid.
