Good Advice #1 and #2 Combined

Recommended Posts

Guest
Let me see if I have this correct. So far #1 states that you shouldn't get a tractor unless it comes with all of the needed implements. But #2 states that all implements will eventually be needed. So, #1 and #2 combined infers that a tractor should only be bought if ALL of the implements come with it? This is a sick group.

I'd say that not all tractors are candidates for a working unit OR a restoration. But there are alot of inbetween tactors to be found and are certainly desired. Now if one were to be found w/ all of the possible factory attachments, such as loader, right hand lift, hydro lift, rear 540 pto, front mounted revitaliser, front mounted brush cutter, cycle mower, belly blade, front blade, mid/rear cultivators, dual wheel spacers, headlights, Radio, bug fogger, hub caps, hi-low, tiller, carry all box, snow blower, and of course a deck. DID I miss anything?? This find, no matter what the condition of the tractor was in, would be like finding the holy grail of tractor finds and would certainly be grabbed up by whatever means neccesary to obtain it. Any person saying they have found such a covetted find and able to produce pictures of it would certainly find themselves bombarded with inquiries or campers in their front yards.lol

The way I see it is, you to get a part tractor for the one you are fixing. now you see that it needs just a few parts to get it running. So now you get another one for parts and maybe this one has attachments to go with it. as you can see this can go on and on!

I was warned about this disease. No symptoms yet except a few extra spare parts.

Probably because you have the same problem as me. The incoming exceeds the outgoing.
