UCD 14 Posted September 26, 2005 I would use the center pto with the same set up as snowblower but it should work.
SmilinSam 3,914 Posted September 26, 2005 Clutch should fit up to the engine without a problem. You may or may not have to lengthen the engagement rod, but I dont think so off hand. Center PTO application wont work if its running the #370 Weedcutter. I used a electric clutch on my 7100 series, but that was on a Kohler. You would have to find a Clutch off a AC built Homelite to fit the Briggs.
BLT 717 Posted September 26, 2005 The add is not correct as to interchangeability. Briggs engines have a 1" dia crankshaft and Kohler engines have a 1-1/8" crankshaft. I have a Kohler driven PTO here and it is 1-1/8" dia. E-mail the seller and have him measure the bore so you know what you ae getting.
ambler 0 Posted September 26, 2005 The same front clutch works for both briggs and kohler but there are 3-4 parts specific for each engine. Check the 7100 series attachments parts manual.
UCD 14 Posted September 26, 2005 I believe these manual front clutches were interchangable with the use of a sleave bushing.
Al 6 Posted September 26, 2005 HI, Item C is a different part for the Kohlers with the 1 /8 shaft. Al Edeb
