Arbor spacers on 48" deck

Tearing down the deck,and 2 of the 3 arbors have large (3/8" thick") spacer rings. Can't understand why only 2 - I'm going to take a straight edge across the top to see if maybe it was some sort of hosed up deck. I'm sure someone has torn these down - should there be 3 spacers? cj

Hi, Is the arbor that has no ring one that the blades bolt on with 2 bolts? These spacers are used when the new type splined arbors are used to replace the older arbors that bolt the blades on with 2 bolts. Al Eden
