tej 1 Posted October 18, 2005 This is a picture of my B12 with 24X12:00X12 rear tires. They work great on my 30 degree sloped lawn. The wide wheels their mounted on are Cub Cadet. Tim
Kent 435 Posted October 18, 2005 Nice tractor! Those big tires really make the B-12 look tough. Looks like you're using the stock tranny pulley. How much do the taller tires speed it up? Also, I'm glad to see back around, Tim....
HubbardRA 19 Posted October 18, 2005 They are only 24 diameter. 1/2 inch on a radius. I doubt if you would notice the difference. Speed increase = 1.04 = 4% I have 26x12x12 on one of mine and notice a little more speed. Speed increase = 1.13 = 13%
tej 1 Posted October 18, 2005 No spacers needed with the Cub Cadet wheels. I tried a pair of 26X12X12 of the B12 but they didn't clear the adjusters on the 42" deck. The 24X12X12 clear the adjusters with no problem. Tim
