Picked up a Yazoo master mower, model#33-1r-48 16hp with manual. Will be pulling engine out(16hp briggs) of it for a simplicity here. Anyone collect older yazoo's or for parts?

I did the same thing. Three wheel rear steer, 48" deck. Bought it from a church, they had bought a new ZTR type and didn't know how to rid themselves of the Yazoo. I offered them a hundred dollars and they said sold. Lawn mower went to my cousin who had two for parts and the engine went to my 3112. If you look close at my 3112 you can see shades of red on the engine, that being the Yazoo color. For years I have always wanted the 32" CID engine, but they would have to be on my terms so to speak. I have ammased three good engines for about $600.00 and that includes the 7116 and 3112 tractors. I be happy. Puller you might want to advertise what you have left on E-Bay. I still see a lot of older Yazoos in east central Illinois.

Well, I found a Yazoo rider, or, should say, I was told where one was, just needs a bit of wiring. I have several Yazoo walk behinds that I still use when I am doing some "I cull nothing" cutting in the edges of the woods (sometimes a bit deeper than the edges). The walk behind mowers had cast iron Clinton engines on them, both the vertical and horizontal shaft mowers. The Clintons have long ago been replaced by Briggs engines in relatively the same sizes as original. The mowers are light, on pneumatic rears, and push easily when properly lubricated. I think I am going back for the rider, although I have absolutley NO need of the mower or the spare engine if the mower is useless.
