Charging System

It may depend on vintage, mine had the 3 amp unregulated with diode, plus a second AC (was it 70 watt?) circuit for lights. Now it has a 25 amp stator with 25 amp full wave regulator :> I hated the way the lights dimmed when I idled the motor with the AC circuit for the lights. When I switched it over, I had a hard time finding the diode. I had asked out here on the board a while back and we figured it was under the dash, but what was under the dash was actually the self resetting circuit breaker. The diode was on the very end of the stator wiring harness, right where it plugged into the tractor wiring harness. It was hidden inside the protective wiring sheaf for the stator wires.
