I don't know if this is covered elsewhere but these are what I found for B Series etc. sheet metal holders. Looking for those insulated connectors for B Series Lighting or could trade.

I know but that was 22 months ago. These are Auveco, a auto body parts supply house. The dealer in my area is a auto paint house. I went to many places. Auveco has two cage nuts, 3144 1/4-20 and 3798 5/16-8, The correct sizes for a B series. They also have the other flanged nuts for the mounting the grill with the correct fasteners. www.auveco.com is their website I emailed them for my local distributor. What I need is the the flat insulated connectors from the light kits. I believe there are two of them for a light kit.

You might have to make that replacement. Those items you are looking for appear to be old Packard cable items. You should be able to get some solderless terminals at a hardware store to fit your needs.

Since we are on the discussion of lights... I have a set of switched lights which came on an early B10, I've got a set of switched lights with the chrome ring on a 3112H, but I think those came on the early Landlord by the photographs. Was there any particular style that went with any particular model? i.e. was all the early machines switched on the lights and the late machines from the dash? I'm going to swap out the ones on my 3112H to a Landlord. Am I correct that the Landlord had the chrome or was that random, an option or location based. As I have a set of switched lights on a 725 with a chrome ring.

Thanks Maynard, I have an original kit on my B110. The closest I've found is what is called diconnect adapter/ It is uninsulated with two male and one female. 3M and Thomas and Betts. I could use shrink tube. I'll check the Packard people.

Ambler I was thinking of usng these when it comes time to restore my tractors www.posi-lock.com or I may just use the quick splice connectors avalable at pretty much every auto parts store.

UCD, nice. Notice that only one setup put the fuse before the switch! BTW: The 1975 date is way after the 1963,64,66,68,69 tractors I'm restoring... Again thanks.

When I mounted my lights I used some recycled connectors from an old air cooled VW bug. Looked just like the picture. Worked out OK. GregB

This light kit was for use on late 1966 to early 1970 square hood tractors. Allis Chalmeres B-100 1967/68, B200 series tractors 1967/70. Simplicity 2100 2200,3000 3100 series 1967/68, 3200 series tractors 1967/70. The instruction sheet states 1974 and earlier and 1975 even though the 3300 1970/71, 3400,(allis 300 & 400) 1972/74 and early 1975 7000 series (Allis 700) had their own optional exterior mounted quad style lights. I think I have all of the variations listed.

Well, on the subject of lights, what is the proper light set-up for a B-1? I'm in the process of restoring one of those, but it didn't originally come with lights that I could see. One of the above?

I can what I think is an original 725 light. Maynard saw that find I had at the last Zagray show... I think that machine was original.
